Everyone’s playing Monday morning quarterback dissecting blown calls, head blows, and what could be a blow to the Tampa Bay Lightning progressing in the playoffs.
Last night blew, indeed, especially when Francis Charron blew the whistle for incidental contact when Carey Price lunged into Alex Killorn, trying to get out of the way. That call bothered me, sure, but it was an array of calls including the no-goal and the linesmen helping out with a blown hybrid icing call (and non-call), calling Steven Stamkos offside on his breakaway and no interference call on Brandon Prust that led to Stamkos getting kneed in the head.
That kind of officiating should be against the law, even in Canada. Get thee a lawyer! Oh wait, Jon Cooper, Esquire, please state your case:
